AirCare was an initiative started in 1992 to improve air quality in British Columbia, Canada through the systematic testing of road vehicles in order to reduce their emissions. Light-duty vehicles were suggested to be the biggest contributors to air pollutants that form smog and a small percentage of vehicles were contributing a large percentage of the pollutants

“All the tests were conducted according to ASTM standard and were duplicated to ensure the repeatability of the value measured. In some tests (flash point, cloud point, sulfur content, electrical conductivity), the result showed a value that was significantly better than the standard value. Overall, all the results showed that the blended diesel (with FCS fuel additive) properties are above the Canadian General Standard Board for automotive (on-road) diesel fuel (CAN-CGSB-3.517-2017). All properties tested respect the Canadian and American Fuel standard and the use of blended diesel (with fuel additive FCS-27).
